Alison is a health policy expert with more than 3 decades of experience at the state, federal, and international levels. With a background and PhD in health policy and development specializing in maternal and child/adolescent health, she headed up the national child health team for the Children’s Defense Fund, served as a health and social policy advisor in the U.S. Senate, and taught health policy at the university level.
